Jeff Diorio's 1980 Indy Pace is an eye catcher to say the least. Jeff bought the car in California from an exotic car dealership. He had this beauty shipped across the country to New York and well, tore it apart.
The exterior was taken to bare metal and repainted to factory specs. The interior was also removed and cleaned and with some help from us with parts Jeff brought it back to life!
The project was not complete though. Jeff removed the 301 turbo and saved the matching numbers motor. He then installed a 450 horse "worked" 455 and with the nearly 600 pounds of foot torque, this is now one pace car that can smoke the cars it brings in tow!
Jeff says this project has taken many hours in the two months he has spend refinishing it. It is now truely a work of power and beauty that does get many stares at the various shows it graces.....
