1980 "Indy Pace" Trans Am

Kevin Moore's 1980 Indy Pace is under a current restoration in Garland TX. Kevin bought the car back in 1989 as a gift to himself for getting through "the grind" of high school. The first picture below shows the car shortly after he bought it. Kevin actualy bought the car from his high school Principle in Amarillo Tx.
Kevin drove the car through 1995 when he parked it due to many needed repairs. The 301 Turbo came out and a Poncho 400 was dropped back in. He still has the matching numbers motor though (good to hear!) The pictures below show the car in it's current state. The new motor is in, and the body is currently awaiting fresh paint and decals. Kevin plans to have her finished and back on the roads around July of 2005.
It is great to see the car is coming back to it's former glory and we hope Kevin will update us with new picture once she is back on the streets of Garland!
