Luke turned 18 a few years ago, and got this car as a gift to himself. Three years later and fresh off a tour in Iraq serving our country Luke noticed a 81 Nascar on Ebay and noted the likeness to his. After a quick VIN check he nearly jumped for joy as his "Plain Jane TA" was indeed a 81 Nascar!
Luke says the 4.9 is gone and a 6.6 400 sits in the engine bay now. Also the car has been repainted and the turbo rims are gone. He is currently gathering parts and plans later in the year to bring her back to life.
Luke says he is very happy to be one of the cases of "the little old lady who sold the "Vete" for $500!" We have to agree and look forward to more pictures!
