1981 Camaro Z-28 restoration.
We removed the rear window for two reasons. One was to get the window gutter seam to bare metal. In the south the heat cooks the rear window seal and water leaks are common. This leads to rotted trunk pans, and vallance panels even in very clean cars.
We also wanted to address the filler panel and replace one of the trunk hinge springs which had given sometime over the years.
