This is a pretty rare item and a great addition to any Fbody.
This is a GM factory hood lamp option. Common mostly on Camaro 1970 - 1981 BUT simple to install on Firebird Trans Am. unit mounts to the under side of the hood framework by two small bolts or screws. The mounting hardware and hood are the ground and it has a single power lead. Power is turned on or off via a mercury switch inside the bulb holder just like the trunk light found on these cars. includes a new bulb and wiring as shown.

Many of the 1970 - 1981 came with a GM option "deluxe exterior molding package". This included the below items which are stainless steel accents that run across the rear lip of the hood and 2 little stubs that mounted onto the tips of the front fenders. They then extended down along the top of the door frame at the window. (We sell those also) seperately.)
This 3 piece kit includes the hood and fender moldings.

- Door top outer door reveal moldings
- Vertical oor edge guard moldings.

Even if your Camaro wasn't originally equipped with the optional exterior molding package, you can still install it to your Camaro some light modifications will be needed on the door top moldings (Call us and we can explan the process) Also not you will need to replace the door top window sweeps in doing this conversion on a non optioned car to the window sweep weather seals with NO chrome bead as the chrome door top moldings replace the smaller stainless trim on the weather seals.
