Units mount to the tail light housing and then to the body of the car. This holds the tail light housing tight to the back of the car. General motors used units in great shape.
All metal studs are chemical dipped to bare metal and reset with a rust preventive clear coat. This gives the studs a deep gray gun metal color. The insulator pads and chemical dipped and soaked to remove most glues and grime. The Spin nuts are chemical dipped to remove drit and debris.
Once the restoration process is done we assemble the unit in a loose fit and bag each individually where it stays just as clean as the day we reconditioned it when you open it up to install Parts are cleaned, prepped, so ZERO work prior to assembly on your tail light!
