This is a set of reconditioned used GM tail lights for 1979 1980 1981 Trans Am and Firebird Formula Models.They are in excellent shape. Includes fuel door that has been sandblasted and reset to black. Fuel door lens is in great shape too.
Super clear lenses, 9 out of 10 condition.
Passenger Side upper lens does have a hairline crack in it but is filled by the paint but have pointed it out in one of the pictures.Includes all mounting studs and also inclues the proper tail light spin nuts.We dismantle all units and clean each part. including inner and outer lens and housings Polishing out the lens set and also bead blasting all metal parts. The fuel door hinge is removed, blasted, reset to color adding new lens mounting acorn nuts.We reset the factory black on the leading edges and also apply 2 coats of clear coat to the outer lens. This renews the looks of the units and also makes for lasting protection for the years to come.The restoration process does take 4-7 hours per set. if you have a nice faded but DAMAGE free set and ship the set to us we will refund a $50 core refund If you units are ok but do have some light damage we will provide a $35 core refund.WE ALWAYS BUY GOOD USED SETS EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE A SPARE SET SITTING AROUND!Our tail light service is highly sought after and hence book mark this page as we do restock but also sell back out just as fast. This is the primary lead in duct which mounts on the inner fender and draws cold air in from the front spoiler area of the nose. This is the same unit used on all 70-81 Trans Am and Firebird models.
The elbow mounts to this unit at the triangle opening at top section..
Used units are all 30 + years old and may have chips and light damage. If damage to the unit will be seen once installed you will find it listed as scratch and dent.Otherwise even if the unit is chipped and dinged and damage is not seen unit is sold at same cost as a damage free unit. Used only on A/C cars this is a GM used unit.
This mounts below the glove box door. Note one of the mounting tabs is missing as shown and there is a light crack which is on the base of the unit as shown. Will mount fine and crack simply needs glued as is not broken off.

This is a Power Trunk Release Button for 1970 - 1981 Trans Am. Factory GM unit is in good used condition. Lettering is fading but still visible. Connection post are all clean and intact. The power trunk release button is located within the glove box. When you open the glove box door this mounts there. When pressed it opens a circut and sends power to the release.
