1979 - 1981 Trans Am Tail Light Lens to Housing Retainer Clamps GM
This is a retainer clamp clip set for use on 1979 1980 1981 Trans Am and Firebird tail lights.
These are GM units and not reproduced will be cleaned prior to shipment and arrive ready to install.
As shown in the picture each tail light has spots for up to 6 of these clips PER tail light, however in the 20 years we have been working on these Trans Ams the average is more like 3 installed per tail light housing so (3 per side) GM has placement for 2 on the upper side of the lens and also 4 across on the underside of the lens. These when installed hold the lens to the housing tighly and compress the chalk seal to keep water from entering the housing.
