1979 - 1981 Trans Am Tail Light Lens to Housing Retainer Clamp NEW
Reproduction of the original tail lamp to housing retainer clip needed to hold the tail lamp together on various GM models including 1976-77,1982-90 Camaro and 1976-81 Firebird models. This clip holds the tail lamp lens cover and housing together. Manufactured from high quality die-cut stamped spring steel, then black zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

As shown in the picture each tail light has spots for up to 6 of these clips PER tail light, however in the 20 years we have been working on these Trans Ams the average is more like 3 installed per tail light housing so (3 per side) GM has placement for 2 on the upper side of the lens and also 4 across on the underside of the lens. These when installed hold the lens to the housing tighly and compress the chalk seal to keep water from entering the housing.
