1971 - 1981 Camaro Trans Am Seat Bottom Tension Springs Used GM!These are Used GM seat bottom tension springs for 1971 - 1981 Camaro and Trans Am! These units mount on the back of the lower seat frame and give the seat bottom spring assembly tension. Each seat frame has THREE of these springs!
NOTE
Units are chemical stripped to remove any rust and then reset with aa heavy grade clear coat. They are a smoked metal look. (See picture above) Parts arrive SEALED IN PASTIC, clean, and are ready to install

This is a 4 pc kit of seat bushings for the front seats on Camaro and Trans Am 1970 - 1981.
These come as a 4 pc.set.
What do these do?
If your front seat leans to the center of the car you slip this bushing over the T-47 Bolt that mounts on the lower seat bun and the seat back rests against it when the seat is in it's normal position. This will mount on the center console side and will allow the seat to rest and will offset the tilt correcting the "leaning appearance"
4 are included as some folks apply them to non leaning seats but ones which may be bent or tilted "back" In that case apply all 4 to the T-47.
*Note when using on the locking hinge side trimming to the longer bushings maybe needed.

This is a pretty RARE GM option for the adjustable driver seat recline. This unit installs onto the lower seat bun under the bun cover and allows a handle to be turned which reclines the upper seat back a few degrees. Most common on Camaro LT and Berlinetta models. This is the mechanisum. We will install a new replacement black knob for the handle. This handle is located on the console side of the driver seat.

These prevent the front seats from tilting too far forward. In laters years GM went to a cheap flex cable that is known for breaking. This mounts the same as the cable so is a nice upgrade for later years cars. Factory replacement for early years. Sold as a pair Left and Right front seats.
