1980 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car - Trans Am

This is going to be my play toy, so we stuck with the 400cid engine. The work on it included basically everything new: crank, cam, worked heads, etc. I am also doing the gear drive just for kicks!
The exterior will be bone stock looking, the motor will be a solid 300hp with 3.08:1s out back. The tranny is stock with exception of a shift kit.
Interior: We are going to all white with the exception of the dash and console. They will remain the gray. The seats are going to white, as is the headliner, door panels and all trim.
We will continue to add photos as the car comes along. This was never meant to be a "show restore" rather a car I can go out and hit some cruise nights in and also burn some tires off. It has been a long road with a ways still to go.
